Music is another source of entertainment. It is the voice for concern, enjoyment, and empowerment. In this page, I am going to talk about some of the albums that I still enjoy listening.
Released on the 23rd of February 2009, Invaders Must Die was seen as a comeback album for the Prodigy. It's texture and sound is completely different to their previous album, Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned (2004), as it was more bright and colourful. It was a dance album that is aggressive but enjoyable that maintains the band's unique sound by going back to their roots.
When you first listen to it, I guarantee you that you won't press Stop on your player. It shows that they still have it, even if they are past their "The Fat of The Land" years. 11 tracks may be short but by the time you finish listening to it, it will feel like a car journey.

This album was also seen as a comeback album. After their previous album, Warning, failed commercially, Green Day went into the studio under pressure to record songs that could get them back into the game. It is a rock opera album released during political turmoil and generational confusion. It is about Jesus of Surburbia who wants to leave his hometown to start a new life. Throughtout the album, there is anger, joy, and romance. However, the most important element is relevancy which Green Day were able to achieve in this album
Even if you are not punk, the message behind the album still resonates you and the lyrics in some of these songs are relatable. American idiot is definitely a classic and one that you should listen, even if you don't have the urge to do it.
The album celebrated 20 years last year. Check out the upscaled music video here
Given that Oasis are currently on their reunion tour, I thought it would be fitting to talk about their debut album released in 1994. Even back then, they were getting all the attention from music listeners and the press. Definitely Maybe is an album that sounds simple but has an ever-lasting impact. Liam Gallagher's voice and Noel Gallagher's guitar playing and songwriting skills makes it extremely unique to the overall sound. In fact, the songs on the album had to be recorded twice as the mixing process in the first studio was not good.
The songs are simple but as I said, the simplest things are the best. The lyrics are relatable, calming, and inspirational which is something special from a band with a working class background. No band has ever seen huge success from their first album as Oasis and this album continues to become a paradise for ordinarly people like you and me.
